Arbetsbeskrivning
Som en i teamet runt pilotmaskinen har du ett varierat jobb där du måste behärska flera moment. Du ska som operatör i mälderiet säkerställa att pappersmassa tillreds och finns tillgängligt under körning. Alla operatörer är delaktiga vid byte av beklädnader, ombyggnad till olika maskinkonfigurationer och är med och åtgärdar fel som uppstår. För att stärka vårt team behöver vi en driven och nyfiken mekaniker.
 
Kvalifikationer
Du som söker bör ha goda erfarenheter från mekaniskt arbete, goda svetskunskaper är ett stort plus, primärt rörsvetsning. Truck- och traverskort är önskvärt. Erfarenhet från pappersindustrin är självklart en merit. Eftersom vi jobbar med globala kunder är det ett krav att du behärskar att kommunicera på engelska. Personliga egenskaper som vi söker är att du är flexibel, nyfiken och har ett driv för att tillsammans med teamet fortsätta vara världens bästa pilotmaskin inom tissue.

As a Valmet Graduate you work in our Tissue Mills business unit in Karlstad, Sweden, which is world leading in designing and producing paper machines for tissue production. We serve customers that make tissue products like kitchen towels, napkins, bath tissue, all the way from stock preparation to winding. We make sure they have equipment of the highest quality for a great tissue making process. We support our customers from initial planning to the project phase, through commissioning and start-up to continuous production. In other words, throughout the entire lifecycle of the tissue machine line.
About the program
Valmet Graduate Program starts in September 2020 and will give you a broad understanding of Valmet tissue, as well as many opportunities to develop yourself. As a graduate you will go through an exciting program for 12 months, combining theoretical learnings, practical experience and personal growth.
Entering the program, you will start and be connected to one department, but you will gain broad exposure working in different departments such as production, supply chain, research and development and more.   
To give you the best possibilities to continue your career in Valmet after the program, you will, in addition to getting to know Valmet and the key technologies, also have elements of the program tailor made for you, depending on your next position in the company. The “home department” is also a possible start for your continued career at Valmet after the program.
Who are you?
To qualify for the Valmet Graduate Program, you have completed your Master’s degree in Engineering before the program starts. You have a maximum two years of working experience post graduation.  
Besides your academic merits you are a technology lover with a creative mind who wants to go the extra mile to reach the best result. You have a strong interest in developing yourself and are eager to take on new challenges together with new people.   
You are fluent in English; any other language is an advantage.

Expectations

Till vår Fiberverkstad söker vi nu en maskinopperatör. I den här rollen kommer du huvudsakligen att utföra bearbetning av utrustning till fiberlinjen såsom kikar, toppseparatorer och på valsar till pappersmaskiner.


För att lyckas i rollen bör du ha ett intresse för teknik , gärna gymnasieexamen med teknisk inriktning. Meriterande är om du har erfarenhet av liknade arbetsuppgifter och goda kunskaper i Siemens 840 D styrsystem och ritningsläsning. Gärna några års erfarenhet av tung bearbetning i svarv.


Personliga egenskaper som vi värdesätter är att du är självständig, målmedveten och nogrann med känsla för ordning och reda. Du bör ha god samarbetsförmåga och behärska Engelska i tal och skrift.

Vi söker nu en Montör till våra serviceverkstäder i Karlstad. I den här rollen kommer du att utföra demontage och montage på valsar för pappersmaskiner där huvudprodukter kommer vara Sugvalsar och Böjningskompenserade valsar samt service av utrustning till våra fiberlinjer såsom Kikar, Toppseparatorer och Utmatare. I arbetet ingår att demontera och besiktiga utrustningen och göra bedömningar av servicebehov samt renovera enligt de krav som finns på respektive komponent.

 

För att lyckas i denna befattning bör du ha ett intresse för teknik, gärna gymnasieexamen med teknisk inriktning. Du har erfarenhet av att ha jobbat med service på tunga maskiner/fordon samt kunskap om hydraulik. Meriterande är om du har jobbat med hydrauliksystem, lagermontage och växellådor.

Personliga egenskaper som vi värdesätter är att du är noggrann, strukturerad, kommunikativ och har god samarbetsförmåga. Du har datavana och gillar att lösa problem när de uppstår. Du har kunskap i engelska och pratar du finska är det ett plus.
