About the Role
As an Electronics Engineer, you will take on a diverse and technically challenging role, working on projects focused on the development of optimized and cost-effective electronic systems. You will work with both analog and digital system design and participate in the entire product development process – from requirements and concept to finished product and testing. 

The work is carried out at ShortLink’s own facilities, with prototype development and testing performed in the in-house lab environment. You will collaborate closely with customers and colleagues in small, cross-functional teams with short decision paths – where your contribution truly makes an impact. The role combines deep technical analysis with creative problem-solving and innovation.
 
Examples of Responsibilities:
Design and optimization of analog and digital systems
Participate in the full development cycle – from requirements and design to testing and verification
Bring-up of new prototypes, troubleshooting, and performance measurements
Collaborate with customers to define requirements and deliver tailored solutions

We’re looking for someone who has:
A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent knowledge
Work experience in electronics development
Good command of English, both written and spoken
A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve common goals

Meritorious:
Experience with FPGA, Python, C, Altium Designer, or RF design
Good knowledge of Swedish

About the role
As an Analog ASIC Engineer, you will have a varied and technically challenging role, participating throughout the entire product development chain – from idea and concept to finished product. The role combines system understanding and analog expertise with practical design in advanced ASIC projects. Work will primarily involve mixed-signal projects related to connected sensors and low-power systems, with a focus on reliability, high performance, and energy efficiency.
You will work closely with both customers and colleagues in small, cross-functional teams with short decision paths, where every contribution has a significant impact. The role combines deep technical analysis with creative problem-solving and innovation.
 
Examples of responsibilities:
Take an active role in designing system architecture and innovative technical solutions
Design and verification of analog and mixed-signal blocks in advanced ASIC projects
Integrate and optimize circuits for low power, reliability, and performance
Collaborate with experienced colleagues in digital and analog ASIC design, RF, and system design

Who we are looking for
ShortLink is looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in analog electronics or system design, combined with documented experience in ASIC design. The role suits both candidates with a background in classical electronics who have added ASIC experience, as well as those with longer ASIC experience who want to develop further in advanced ASIC design.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering Physics, or similar
Several years of experience in analog electronics and ASIC design (e.g., block design, simulation, layout, or system-level design)
Experience in digital and mixed-signal design is a plus
Good command of English (Swedish is a merit)
Curious, analytical, and solution-oriented personality
Experience with AI-related applications or signal processing is a plus

Som elektronikingenjör på ShortLink blir du en viktig del i utvecklingen av högpresterande, kostnadseffektiva elektroniska system. Du arbetar i projektform, nära både kollegor och kunder, med lösningar anpassade efter specifika behov.

Exempel på arbetsuppgifter: Utveckling av mjukvara i C++ och Python
Konstruktion och optimering av analoga och digitala system, inklusive PCB-design
Arbete i hela utvecklingskedjan – från kravspecifikation till test, verifiering och lansering
Praktiskt prototyparbete, felsökning och prestandamätningar
Kunddialog för att säkerställa krav och leverera skräddarsydda lösningar
Vi söker dig som: Har en teknisk högskole- eller civilingenjörsexamen inom elektronik, datateknik eller liknande
Har några års erfarenhet av elektronikutveckling och är bekväm med programmering i C++ och/eller Python.
Har intresse för inbyggda system och/eller FPGA.
Om har tidigare erfarenhet av arbete med Cadence, Altium Designer eller RF-konstruktion är det meriterande, men inget krav.

About the Role
As a Project Manager at ShortLink, you will play a central role in the development of advanced technical solutions within discrete hardware, software, FPGA, and custom ASIC/IC circuits. Experience in leading technical projects is a plus, but you might also be ready to take that step now. In any case, you are used to taking responsibility, creating structure, and communicating effectively with both technical teams and business partners.
